    • Kilang Minyak Sawit Meru Sdn Bhd was incorporated in Malaysia on 12th of July 1990. The Company’s principle business activity is in the cultivation, processing and trading of palm oil products in a sustainable manner.

    The Company is also engaged in several other palm oil related business and services which include manufacturing of palm oil mill spare parts, distribution of Palm Kernel Shell, Palm Shell Powder, Mesocrap Fiber, Empty Fruit Bunch, Empty Bunch Fiber, Bio-Decomposed Organic Fertilizer, Palm Oil Sludge and transportation of palm oil goods.


  • Leadership

    • Chew Ah Wah (Managing Director)

    A veteran in the palm oil industry with over 30 years of experience in managing palm oil plantations, palm oil mills and the distribution of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). Mr. Chew is also an active trader of palm oil products specializing in trading of Crude Palm Oil (CPO), Palm Kernel (PK) and Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). A graduate of The Charted Institute of Marketing U.K., Mr. Chew insights and leadership in the industry is invaluable to the company.

    Chew Bjorn (Executive Director)

    A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Ohio State University. Mr. Chew has been active in the palm oil industry since the early 2000s. He obtained a Diploma in Palm Oil Milling Technology & Management in 2006 and a certified Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Grader from MPOB.

    Chew Yishuai (General Manager)

    An engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering from The University of Alberta, Canada and also holds a Diploma in Palm Oil Milling Technology & Management from MPOB.

    Alan Azmi Bin Saidin (Operations Manager)

    With over 15 years of experience in the palm oil milling industry. Mr. Alan specializes in the engineering and mechanical segment of the milling operations.


  • Governance

    • Kilang Minyak Sawit Meru Sdn Bhd’s Board of Directors oversees the Managing Director and other senior management in the competent and ethical operation of the company on a day-to-day basis and assures that the long-term interests of shareholders are being served. Directors are expected to take a proactive, focused approach to their positions, and set standards to ensure that Kilang Minyak Sawit Meru is committed to business success through the maintenance of high standards of responsibility and ethics.
